Trash! Event: Food Wars

January 25 @ 12:00 am - 2:00 am

You all know that Trash! is a reading group dedicated to the global state of pop culture and its nuances. Now, tell me two things all societies have in common: that’s right, food and competition. For those like ourselves who don’t enjoy actual sports, the topic of food understood as such is definitely more appealing than a bunch of sweaty people chasing a dirty ball.
Whether you agree or disagree, you should join us next Friday 01/24 from 4-6pm in 260-252 (aka the German Studies Library) to let your voice be heard. Rosaley Gai (EALC) will direct the discussion entitled “Food Wars! Is Cooking a Sport”, and we need you to bring your own cultural and individual perspective in such pressing topic. Follow this link for the RSVP (https://shorturl.at/0YWJ2), which also contains the readings. See the wonderful poster attached.
