Introduction to Python

Location: IC Classroom, Green LibraryDate and Time: 1PM–3PM, Tuesday, April 15, 2025Instructor: Simon Wiles, Digital Scholarship Research DeveloperThis workshop provides an introduction to the Python programming language, covering basic syntax, variables, functions, and control flow. You will learn enough Python to write basic scripts, and to allow you to explore the rich environment of Python packages available. Prior experience with programming in another language is helpful, but not required.
Please register to attend. Registration is exclusively open to current Stanford Affiliates and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Given the limited space, a waitlist will be established once all spots are filled.
