Branner Library Monthly Book & Map Exhibit – Naturally Hazardous: Sea Level Rise

Branner Earth Sciences Library & Map Collection exhibit series: Naturally Hazardous
From the cosmically unavoidable to the anthropogenically-induced, Earth can be naturally hazardous to humans. In the 2024-25 academic year, Branner Library’s exhibit series will feature the science and impact of volcanoes, wildfires, drought, and more.
February 3 – February 26: Explore the causes and impacts of sea level rise, from past changes to assessing the impacts of predicted variations through books and maps.
Books and a selection of maps are displayed on the library’s main floor. Additional maps are displayed on the library mezzanine exhibit wall (access from within the library).
Check out past exhibits featured in the Branner Library Newsletter. The exhibit is available for viewing during regular library open hours.
A current Stanford ID is needed to enter the library, visitors must present a government issued ID card to sign-in at the front desk.
